Last week I attended another inspiring workshop. This time, we were taught all about a photography technique called ‘Moment Design’. Our teacher: Heleen Klop. Here, it’s all about capturing real emotions. We give the models an invite to do a little assignment and we tell them what to chat about while doing that, for example. This way, it’s about having quality time together as a couple, rather than focussing on posing for the camera. No forced posing but natural behaviour.
After the indoors lecture, Heleen took us to a nice spot in the National Park Veluwe. Here, R & I were our models. Heleen showed us how she interacts with her models. It’s really nice to see the effects of that on her models and therefore her pictures. I am excited to use this technique more in my upcoming photoshoots!
